The Coddiewomples is an informal and fun game, designed to initiate a fellowship between the audiences (present and potential) of Indian Classical Arts and the Arts itself!
Good old party games are re-designed with RootEd’s own tiny twist to best explore the subject matter at heart – Indian Classical Dance!
The meaning of the word coddiwomple (yes that’s how it is actually spelt) is “to travel in a purposeful manner towards a vague destination”. And so, enough said about our game!

Would you like to be a Coddiewomple too?
RootEd is about the Indian Classical Arts. The game, therefore, is built around the Indian Classical Arts. Without an audience, does art have any meaning? Whether you have had any dalliance – serious, fleeting, or none – with the Indian Classical Arts – you are whom we create art for. And what you think about it matters to us. By playing this game together, you give us a glimpse into your minds and we give you a glimmer of our love for Indian dance.
